We've all been looking forward to a peaceful, relaxing holiday all year and you villa was certainly the perfect setting for it. Many, many thanks for your help and hospitality. Gary, Kris, Nicky and Graham Clarke.

We knew it would be good but this holiday has exceeded all our hopes and expectations, thankyou for caring for us so well. We are returning home well rested and looking forward hopefully for a return trip. The Grooms

Thank you for making us so welcome at Quinta Japonica. Even though we had seen the pictures on the internet it far exceeded our expectations. All packed up and ready to go, looking forward to the cold, rain etc. Great villa, great pool, relaxing location - perfect - oh except for whinging children!! seriously though, Sam and George say that Portugal was the best holiday ever - the lizards being the icing on the cake.

Last out in 2003 and here again first in 2004 and haven't we been the lucky ones with the fabulous weather, such as we had not dared anticipate, even the pool has been delightfully warm reaching 27 degrees. Besides your lovely garden, birds, butterflies etc have been very entertaining at this time of year. We hope it won't be too long before we come again. Corrine and Neville Groom.

We have spent a wonderful week at Quinta Japonica. We really couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our anniversary, swimming with dolphins was the icing on the cake. Thankyou both for your card, flowers and bubbly, they were a lovely surprise. This week has been what we both needed, peaceful and relaxing. It has been a very happy and memorable week for both of us even if you do drive on the wrong side of the road. We will miss everything that we leave behind and most of all the two of you. Thankyou once again for letting us share your little piece of heaven at Quinta Japonica. Having spent our first wedding anniversary here last year, it was loveley to have been here for our second and we hope to be back next year for our third. The children have enjoyed their week here and Jack has certainly made an impression on them. It has been a wonderful time. Your villa with its marvellous surroundings felt like an oasis of peace and quiet. Your hospitality and kindness was wonderful. Our first holiday in Portugal certainly has been one to remember for a long time.
