Horse riding and Jeep safari are available from one of our neighbours in the valley. (3 minute drive away)

The Algarve is full of things to do from superb golf courses to museums to water parks etc, my favourite is Aqualand with a near vertical slide that you go down on a sledge and skim over the water. The beaches are fantastic with rock formations, arches and caves. The Cork Museum at Silves is well worth a visit with sound and light shows on an evening projected onto the Castle. Boat/Sailing/Fishing trips can be arranged from most marinas.
